86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 fiveacestx (57) Texas | November 21, 2012 (at least) 114 beers on tap. Mostly the usual suspects but a few good ones local to that part of the U.S. as well as five or six house brews. They also had a selection of limited drafts and bottles on rotation. Prices were about average for a bar. They had shorties (10 oz), pints and yards. I didn’t eat there but I wished I had as they had a nice selection of chow. Beer prices were on par with other places around town. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 12/20 Cliff (50) Avon Lake, Ohio | July 6, 2012 Relatively new Casino/Resort far west of the strip in extreme proximity to Red Rock Canyon. This Yard House is attached to the main floor of the casino. Was there on a Thursday early afternoon and it was mostly empty. Very friendly waitstaff/bartenders. My wife ordered a Scrimshaw Pils and the keg blew mid pour. The bartender gave her what had poured and gave her a fresh one when the keg was switched. I had a Unita Black IPA. 2 beers plus tip was $16, so it was a bit steep, but overall a cool place. |
