Compare to all other convenience stores in the area, this place rocks! It carries most of Quebec finest beers.

They’re loosing it a bit... They don’t grow and I think they refuse to take new brewers. They don’t have everything they could, especially lacking of Bièropholie and Charlevoix products, which is a shame. Quelques bières intéressantes, encore une des meilleures places au nord de Montréal pour les bières de micro brasseries québécoises.

This is a depanneur ( convenience store), but I go there for the beer. They have a good choice of beers that we cannot find elsewhere and the service is good.

Pas pire pour un dépaneur, surtout le fait que je travaille dans une épicerie (une IGA Extra) que le choix minime et frustant. Il y a meilleur, mais point de vue distance (je suis juste au nord), il "dépane" pour des choix rare.

Clean place, but small. And the owner always look at me strangely. And the little girl who is probably 3 years younger that me keeps on asking me my I.D. even if I come often. So I can’t really say I like that service. They have a good selection of Quebec micro ans seasonal beer. And since its in my city, well that’s the place I go to when i want some new beers!

I concur what has been said. This looks like nothing from the outside, but inside, it's very clean and well disposed, rather easy to find what you're looking for and basically pretty much any bottle available in Quebec besides (when I went anyway) Charlevoix brewery. I assume the staff is not so knowledgeable and helpful though from what I've seen.

If this is what the typical convenience store is like in Montreal, I'm moving! Quantities of St. Ambroise Vintage 2001, for $5; large, large selection of Quebec micros including Unibroue & McAuslan of course, but also Bieropholie, Schoune, La Barberie, etc etc. I don't have a lot of experience buying at stores in the Montreal area yet, but prices seem good and I was told that the Vintage Ale was $2 cheaper here than at a larger store. Out of the way, would be very easy to miss (best to email expert MartinT first), but a paradise for the Quebec beerhunter.

Very good beer store for Quebec, the northern Montreal alternative to Joannette’s. Almost the same selection, save a few rarities that only Joannette seems to have. Owner might throw in a complimentary glass if he is in the mood. By far, the best bottle shop north of the metropolis.
