A relatively plain Victorian pub with huge picture windows, just off the main pedestrian shopping drag. It advertises six hand pumps but had only Doom Bar and one other cask ale when we were there. (Visited 17 January 2012).

Victorian corner pub in the city centre with a more stripped out, less ornate feel than many of that ilk in the city. Has some seating on the pedestrian area out front. Five or six handpumps, often allegedly including beer from Southport brewery (although not on my visit). There were a couple of scoops for me though. As the name suggests, there is accommodation available here.
