| mikem409 (40), bloomfield, Michigan | | January 6, 2012 nice selection of michigan and other craft beer | | msante79 (253), Mount Prospect, Illinois | | December 6, 2011 Looks like your average liquor store but had a ton of goodies. Nice singles selection with tons of Shorts that I have only seen at Wine Palace. They had several other brews including Kuhnhenn 4D which I have not seen anywhere else when I was there. Very large selection of home brew supplies, wine making equipment, and even light to grow "plants". Great selection of B Nektar meads. Could not find this hidden room someone mentioned below. Wish I had a place like this at my home. | | djpaige (12), Michigan | | June 23, 2011 Good selection on the general floor space with a wide variety of local, U.S. and some international. But there is a secret stash behind a door that Ethan Hunt would have trouble surpassing. There is where the golden treasure lies with the ultra low volume rarities. Service has been good overall and pricing is generally competitive with some a tad high. A place a make a point of visiting when I am in the area. | | RyanMM (16), Ferndale, Michigan | | June 15, 2010 Pretty solid selection. I was hoping to see more with a store this size, well over half the store is devoted to home-brew and home-grow products. Still, there’s a really good amount of beer. Prices were average, a tad on the high side. | | RoscoeJackson (19), Michigan | | November 21, 2009 [ Updated December 3, 2010 ] several harder to find singles that i havent seen before. i will be going back to this place soon. | | dmschefke (42), Macomb, Michigan | | March 16, 2009 Very much so a glorified party store with home brewing supplies. The selection is decent with a few harder to find items. Prices are on the high side. Service leaves a lot to be desired. | | jtw (26), farmington, Michigan | | January 4, 2006 looks and feels like a glorified convenience/liquor store. excellent selection of locals and other micros and macros, with some rare vintage beers as well, although the prices reflect that. i’m not sure they have optimum storage conditions, but at least they’re mostly out of the light. they probably don’t have a huge turnaround on specialty beer. also have homebrew/winemaking supplies which seemed a little expensive as well, but not outrageous. worth a stop, who knows what you might find? |
