| nate2g (320), Marlborough, New Zealand | | May 23, 2012 Attracts a mixed crowd being situated in the busy, eclectic Camden borough. Interesting beer selection with Brewdog’s regular brews, as well as seasonals, specials and some great guest ales to try (US and Scandi for the most part). Tidy bottle choice too. As a bonus, the burgers are one of the best deals in London for price and quality. The staff do a solid job behind the bar, and are welcoming. I never used to come to the area often but now it’s worth popping over for a beer or two. | | JBud (10), , England | | May 5, 2012 The bar is in the same "industrial" style as the other BD bars and again generates a good atmosphere. The bar has a good selection of BrewDog beers managing to rotate the selection to include new and prototype beers. The bottle menu is again varied with a number of different international brewers; Stone, Mikeller, Hitachino to name a few. Similar to other craft beer bars in London BD Camden is NOT cheap! The food menu is limited with a couple of different burgers and pizzas, the menu could definately do with being expanded but this said what is available is really good! Unfortunately one bugbear (non beer related) I have about the place which I need to get off my chest is the really poor restrooms (to use an Americanism). Attended on the BD 5th Birthday recently and the beer selection and atmosphere was great, showcasing the new BA 77, Pale Ale 3.8 & Dog A (though at £18 a bottle!!). All in all worth a visit. | | andygood (24), , Italy | | May 3, 2012 locale in stile moderno, essenziale negli arredi ed abbastanza freddo come atmosfera. Personale alquanto scazzato e poco preparato sulle birre offerte. Prezzi nettamente al di sopra della media londinese...Pinta di Punk Ipa 4.90 pounds !!! Provato la dead pony club non male ma niente di che.... da evidenziare l’assenza della trashy blonde. Presenti birre japan e di mikkeler. Cibo: qualche hamburger e pizza ma con prezzi allucinanti....Peccato mi aspettavo qualcosa di meno commerciale | | teorn88 (25), Rimini, Italy | | April 22, 2012 Been there on a Sunday afternoon to avoid the crowd. The place was full anyways, but not packed with people. I could find a table. Very few seats available and only 2-3 stools to drink at the counter. Tap list is clearly visible on a big blackboard, as well as food offerings. Free Wi-Fi is available as well. The forniture and atmosphere is Camden chic and not certainly typical British pub ones. Not a cozy place at all. Service was good and most bertenders were smiling and helpful. Again, timing of my visit certainly helped this. Selection on tap is very good, with around 10 BD offers and another 6-8 host taps from Mikkeller and the US mainly. Every beer has a serving size (full pint, half-pint, third-pint) which actuallt helps taste more beers and your wallet. You can even get to try TNP and STB by the ounce at reasonable (?) prices.Very deep bottle list with quite a lot of imports as well. Food list looked good and the burger I tried was amazing. Prices are quite steep, but in line with other craft beer places in London. Overall, I liked the place quite a lot for their selection, pour sizes and food, but still lacks some atmosphere. | | sir__v (12), Lille, France | | April 21, 2012 The only Brewdog bar in London! The best place to enjoy Brewdog and underground beers as Mikkeller and Hitachino. I recommend this place if you want to taste amazing beers, about the ambiance and the style, the bar is great but just a little bit noisy. You have games on a shelf if you want to play. | | erickok (36), Leiden, Netherlands | | April 20, 2012 Visited this on Thursday afternoon and it way pretty quite. More time to talk to the guys at the bar, both of which were great. Started going me tasters of pretty much every tap and had a very fun chat. The bar looks great as well. Didn’t try the food myself, but it looked good. Tap selection was great with some rare Brewdog stuff obviously, but also some fun Japanese ales for example. Bottle list is ore expensive but still reasonable. Need some Dutch micro’s on there, though. ;) Really enjoyed my time here. Recommended! | | tiong (26), Espoo, Finland | | April 19, 2012 A nice place with a good selection of their own and guest beers both on tap and on bottles. Bottled beers were slightly cheaper than in Craft Beer/Cask Pub, but still quite expensive. The burger I tried was quite tasty and cheap. They have some Brewdog merchandise for sale as well. Samplers available, which is always a big plus. | | JohnRMurdoch (208), Glasgow, Scotland | | April 15, 2012 [ Updated April 21, 2012 ] A bit more spacious than the other BrewDog Bars. Usual good selection of BrewDog and quality foreign beers but not as many bottles as the Scottish bars. A must visit on a London beer tour. | | tderoeck (93), Gent, Belgium | | April 10, 2012 This place was a bit hard to find, in the middle of a residential area. Pretty crowded when we got there, on a Sunday afternoon. We moved downstairs to the cosy basement. Had a feeling most of the visitors weren’t there as much for the beer, as they were for the scene, but that’s ok. The cheese an meat platter was pretty nice, bit expensive though. It’s cool that you can get some of the Tactical Penguin by the (very small) glass. Why the hell didn’t I take that? Must go back... | | saxo (32), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark | | April 6, 2012 Good pub in Camden that not surprisingly serves mainly beers from Brewdog. But you can also find some Evil Twin, Mikkeller, Nøgne Ø and beers from the US. Small food selection but their burgers are tasty! |
