EDIT - JUNE 2011: they’ve recently added a rotating tap devoted to Premier brands such as Hacker Pschorr and La Trappe. Bottles rotate occasionally - for instance, a new order from F&M Brewery just arrived - but most of them are LCBO listings. While it’s good to see the addition of another solid import tap, and some direct-from-brewery bottles, my rating remains unchanged. EDIT - AUG. 2010: new arrivals include Meantime Chocolate, Negra Modelo, Chimay Red, Cameron’s Auburn, and a few others that I can’t remember. I’ve upped my score as a result. 2009 Review - A tiny bistro pub on Richmond Street. Dimly lit, welcoming atmosphere with a decent sized sit-down bar. Several tables and booths in the restaurant area, very attractive decor. In the summertime the outdoor patio is open. Bartenders Peter Willis and Paul are really cool guys. Beer selection is small but high quality. Duvel, DFH 60 Minute, Maudite, London Pride, MS Coffee Porter, Innis & Gunn, Steam Whistle, Cameron’s Lager, Upper Canada Dark, Grasshopper Wheat, and Warsteiner Pils are the usual suspects. Food menu has some beer-inspired items like the Guinness steak sandwich and Pint O’ Prawns. My girl and I enjoyed the mixed greens, salmon welly, pork tenderloin, panna cotta, and pear & apple crisp. Overall, this bistro pub has a bright future ahead of it. Keep up the good work!

A nice little bar, maybe 60 people capacity, on a main street. This could be a cute micro beer bar, however from 8 taps, only 1 was Tankhouse. So a long way to go. Lighting came in fine, many large windows. More of a wine bar to me.

Frindly atmosphere, friendly service. Good beer selection, too small though, still better than almost all other bars in london. Great menu though. Bangers and mash? Where else can you get that with a good pint of local beer?

A new bistro/gastropub located in London’s Richmond Row. Nice modern decor with some antique church keys on the walls and other similar accents. Nice large patio sits along the side of the restaurant, and faces Richmond Row. 8 taps, of which half are Ontario micros, with plans to further this as the demand increases. Bottle list was quaint, but solid, and contained local micros and some nice imports. Service was excellent and attentive. Prices were excellent as well, given the location. The menu looks great and I will eat here next time I visit. An up and commer in London for sure.
