pitiful excuse for a Dutch bar, they had Vedett then the rest of the beers were Belgian staples, not worth stopping by

In the tourist haven of Soho, just outside Chinatown. It is like walking into a Dutch bar, which is what it is! Thursday lunchtime and it is fairly full, tourists and office workers vie for the best tables, my wife, son and myself are just having a couple before a show. So a mixed bag of friendly customers really. It does get a lot busier in the evenings, weekends even more so. Service with a smile, good choice for tourist London. Not the cleanest Dutch bar I’ve been in, but not the grubbiest either. Well worth popping in, if you fancy a change from cask beer and want a Belgian or Dutch drink.

Cool little dutch bar in the west end. Some decent bottles, ok taps. Food is quite good here.

Great location and a pub with a great history. Also the focus for Dutch football fans during the world cup and was once the hang out for Dutch ex-pats during the war. Always busy and bustling, but I am always disappointed by the lack of range of Dutch beers on offer. Go for the atmosphere but not really for the beer.

I’ve never forgiven this place for ditching the draft Witte Raaf, in favour of Wieckse Witte. Even so, it has a couple of nice beers available and some Dutch canape/bar snacks. Great location for Chinatown and Soho.

Good selection of Dutch and Belgian beers although they don’t serve kwak in the correct glass (even though they have them) because they get stolen. Good night out in soho with tonnes of restaurants around if you get hungry.

Stumbled onto this place while going out to dinner with some business associates in Soho. (It’s right on the edge of Chinatown.) It’s ostensibly a Dutch bar, but it’s the Belgians that make it worth visiting. The line-up includes most/all varieites of Chimay, Deirium, St. Berhardus, Westmalle, Rochefort, and others. Admittedly this is somewhat of a standard Belgian line-up by the standards of great U.S. bars, but it’s well above average based on my London experience, especially for Soho. They also had some bizarre strawberry beer whose name escaped me but was pretty tasty. All of this is served in a classic pub atmosphere, very inviting. The Dutch connection seems largely to have been lost. This place is probably not worth going out of your way for, but if you’re in the neighborhood, you could do far worse.
