Situated in a block building just in front of the Euston station, this place is definitely in a handy location if you’re a tourist. Space is minimal inside, with only few seats and no real tables. But there’s more seating upstairs. Lots of taps and bottle in the fridges aside the counter. Ambiance is nice when outside is a sunny day and people hang out in the nearby garden. Service was friendly. Selection is very extensive with great selection from the UK, US and Europe as well. Don’t think they cook any food in there. Too small of a space. Prices are reasonable for London standards. Overall, a worthy stop when in London, definitely. Oh, did I mention they opened a cider-only bar across the street in the twin block? Awsome!

Discovered this place last year and I’ve got to say that this place is awesome! So many beers in such a tiny space! The place to go when I’m waiting for the train back to Birmingham.

Small place by the rail station, and an awesome place to go when I wasn’t feeling the loudness and generic beer at the hostel I was staying at. Great bottle list and a big tap list. Service was very friendly. Business seemed to pick up a lot around 5, go figure. Would recommend this place if you are in the area.

So, I guess this was my favourite bar of the whole London trip. Very big selection of both cask and taps (27 in total, that’s no lie!). Maybe a bit empty, but the waitress made up for that, very friendly and attentive. Not very cosy downstairs, but the upstairs looked very nice. I guess in the evening it has a better atmosphere. We saw lots of people coming and going during the 2 hours we spent there.

Great beer pub in London. Interesting architecture as it is set in a small tower. Good selection of beers from the UK and US. Also some from Germany. 20 taps and very helpful staff.

The Euston Tap is located in one of the two block buildings that were built next to the (now gone) huge archway that Victorian Londoners produced as a gateway into the then new Euston Railway Station. The blocks have the names of the various towns the railway station would serve in embossed concrete on them in large capitals. Closer to the current station is a War Memorial for railway workers, look for that and you’ll see the two block houses I’m talking about. The block in which The Euston Tap is in has a mini garden area and a small upstairs room; otherwise it is just a minute ground floor with very little room to move in. The bar, which is basic, is straight in front of you. The taps are high up the wall behind the bar, American beer bar style, unusual for the UK. The beer selection is very impressive, cask UK beers and keg beers from Europe and the US. The bottled list is vast and again impressive. On our visit, a cold early Friday evening in February it was rammed and we had to drink out on the pavement, luckily it was dry (unusual for London in Feb). The overworked staff coped well and seemed happy enough, the customers pleased with the staff’s efforts and the beers they were serving. This isn’t a cosy, comfortable hostelry; it is more of a beer dispensing room with minimum fuss and space. If the owners could get hold of the other block across the road and have a tunnel connecting the two, it would be fantastic (and give everyone more breathing space).

Nice, cozy little bar in busy intersection. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Decent selection that seems to rotate frequently. Some beers I have not seen elsewhere. Plenty of bottles to take away. Will be hitting this place again a couple more times in the very near future. And plenty more on subsequent visits.

Really nifty central location near the Euston train station, which is also a major underground hub. Small downstairs tap room with an awesome spiral staircase up to a busy floor of tables and a long bathroom line on a Friday night. Even in winter there was a crowd sitting outside sipping pints. Selection was dreamy, from international bottles and local casks. Prices are expensive, just like London, but reasonable for the quality. Service was super slow and not too knowledgable on the beers. They also maintain a pretty up-to-date lineup of their draft beers on their blog: http://eustontap.wordpress.com/ Would come back any time, loved it

Convenient location right next to Euston Station. The proximity to the station gives the place a weird vibe - the crowd’s quite transient. There’s a very small amount of floor space, though you can usually score a table upstairs if you’re patient or aggressive. The decor’s minimalist, the lighting dark. There’s a good number of taps and a reasonable bottle selection. The beer’s well kept. My one gripe about the offerings on tap is that they seem to load up on kegs of the beers they put on, so the turnover of the offerings isn’t as quick as other pubs like the CBC. The staff is nice, trained, but not particularly knowledgeable about what they’re serving. No food, though you can order delivery pizza to the bar. In my 5 or so visits I’ve never seen anyone do that.
