4 reviews for LCBO Masonville
Bejaaamin (6), London, Ontario does not count - explanation | | August 1, 2009 Always a great wine selection in vintages. But recently has been lacking in the beer department. Always the common Unibroue beers, hockley valley, and waterloo, sometimes a large selection of rarities. But not often enough. | Diablo9845 (4), Barrie, Ontario does not count - explanation | | April 27, 2007 I love this LCBO. Just got back and purchased some Duvel, Achell, some rare seaonal beers, Chimay Red and a couple nice bottles of wine. Great slection, some knowledgeable staff.
I love this place, it feels like home when I walk in and is a candy store for grownups. | | mds (100), Toronto, Ontario | | January 1, 2007 Located about a 5 minute walk from my parent’s home so I was here quite often when I lived with them. It was always a pretty good store even before the renovation to the "new" style. They always get seasonals, as Len mentioned, but I have found that they aren’t always on the shelves or they are sold out very quickly. Sometimes the store down on Wellington/Southdale or Wharncliffe/Commissioners is a better bet for that. They also seem to have Trafalgar and Mill Street now which was never the case a few years ago. As LCBO’s go, it’s one of the better locations in London but hey, it’s still the LCBO. | | MrManning (48), London, Ontario | | November 29, 2006 This is the city’s best liquor store. If any special releases are to be found, it is here. There are a couple beer friendly staff here, but most know nothing about beer. Large beer fridge holds some macros and lots of local micros, which is the work of James, the spirits advocate. Worth a visit if you are in town, as this will be your best bet for a somewhat diverse beer selection. The vintages wine section occasionally hols rare sake and cider. |
