| jrallen34 (207), Chicago, Illinois | | May 5, 2012 7 casks but by 7 when I was there 4 had already blown. 5 were readily available macros with 2 decent mircros, underwhleming place not worth stopping by | | saxo (32), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark | | April 6, 2012 Nice cozy pub in Soho. When owner saw my friend and me rating beers he went to the cellar and opened more casks so that we could try more samples - and all those extras were free. Cant blame the service here :) Food was fine too. | | HenrikSoegaard (144), Randers, Denmark | | March 18, 2012 Realy cosey small pub in soho. Fantastic servicee. 6 casks and 6 tabs. When owner/beer resp. found out we were interested in beer, he gave 4 free samples of casks from celler not yet avalieble. Some of the beers very uncommon. Really a place to visit. | | EdKing (69), London, England | | May 9, 2011 [ Updated May 21, 2011 ] Traditional Soho Pub (owned by Nicohlsons) renowned for it’s endorsement of real ale. Regularly has seasonal ales from different brewers from around the UK, alongside regulars including London Pride. Pub is very traditionally fitted inside with the original fittings. Said to be the watering hole of George Orwell and bar area named in his honour. However, is pretty small upstairs although regulars usually drink outside in Summer. I like the beer here, but the crowd is always a bit old and grungy for Soho. But if you want traditional old fashioned slightly smelly pub then this is your place. |
