| Leighton (226), London, England | | April 18, 2012 An interesting Fullers pub nestled in Euston Station. It’s the only Fullers pub I’ve found that has a range of guest ales. Nothing special on my visit, but new beers anyway. The place itself is a bit cramped and the clientele is mostly tourists or train-travelers. It might be a pub to visit once; I really don’t see myself going back here, especially since the Euston Tap is about three minutes away. | | niquillis (42), Stoke on Trent, England | | October 23, 2011 Worth popping in if you have some time to kill waiting for a train from Euston. 4 guest beers on this time, mine was not in the best condition. I’ve been in before and not had that problem before though. | | beansoup (22), , | | April 22, 2011 Fuller’s makes great beer but their pubs often feature Pride, ESB and little else. The Doric Arch on the other hand has plenty of tasty choices and a selection of railway signs to stare at. Toilets are down 19 flights of stairs and are sometimes locked. Slighly frustrationg when you’re bursting for a wee. | | JohnRMurdoch (208), Glasgow, Scotland | | March 23, 2011 Tradional Fullers bar just outside Euston station. Serves good range of well kept Fullers ales plus a couple of guest beers. Fairly average real ale pub. | | nate2g (320), Marlborough, New Zealand | | June 25, 2010 Fullers pub with a handful of casks. Not a bad pub located outside Euston station, but not worth going out of the way for. | Cascade8 (4), Tampere, Finland does not count - explanation | | December 27, 2009 The real ale was in OK condition. The selection itself was the normal Fullers + a couple of guests. Bitter&Twisted tasted excellent, but the Tim Taylor’s Landlord was nowhere near the best pints I’ve had in London. Not worth a longer journey IMHO. | | Rune (234), Tromsø, Norway | | May 21, 2009 Arriving by train from Liverpool we stopped here for lunch and a few pints. 12 casks ales, most of them from the Fullers range, but added by four interesting guest ales. Bottled beers from Fullers. My Fullers London Porter on cask was found to be in perfect shape. The food was alright, but far from great. Slow service by a rather negligent staff (visited 05.05.2009). | | Svesse (139), Hässelby, Sweden | | January 20, 2009 (Last visited late November 2008) Situated close to the entrance of Euston Station. Interior in brown wood and with views of the bus stops. Four Fullers beers and some guest beers. Sometimes the guest beers are not very interesting, but once in a while you strike gold (like this lovely Phoenix Firecracker). Good pub food is served. As is normally the case with station pubs, most of the clientele is waiting for a train or a bus, so it doesn’t really get that homely feel. It has lost some of its character (and several good quality guest beers) since the Fullers take over a couple of years ago. Still, it’s worth a stop if you’re in the area. | | TimE (189), Tokyo, Japan | | October 22, 2008 First day in England ever and visited here and they only had two beers I had not had before. Those two beers were decent, but really can’t recommend this place unless you happen to be standing in front of it and you know Bree Louise is closed. | | JoeMcPhee (398), Toronto, ON, Ontario | | September 21, 2008 Oddly laid-out bar in the Euston Tube/Railroad complex. About four Fullers casks and a similar number of guest casks. Sort of a mixed crowd with I was in...mostly commuters with nobody really all that interested in chatting with anyone else. The bartender didn’t really know what she was talking about, but she didn’t pretend to either. Okay spot, but there are better close by. |
