Old-school, small single room pub in Westminster. The signs on the outside give you an idea of what you should expect: No Big Screen, Music or Fruit Machines and use of toilets by non-customers is 50p! The interior is quirky traditional London pub, that includes weird displays on the walls such as wall-quarrying explosives and police weapons. At the modest sized bar are 4 cask offerings, which are 2-3 guests and a permanent tap of Timmy Taylor’s. Beer condition is good and the place regularly runs micro-festivals. If you are hungry please try the sandwiches (they roast their own beef and chicken). All in all you should come here for the atmosphere, not necessarily the beer selection. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
