A cosy and welcoming traditional pub in a quiet lane off Little Venice. When I lived on a boat in nearby Little Venice many years ago, the Warwick Castle was always one of my favourite locals. It’s a lovely place with traditional décor, wooden floors and an open log fire. There’s a small area at the back with comfy chairs and board games and two side rooms at the front which always used to be quite Spartan but which are now cosy too. It can get busy in here but mainly with locals as it’s quite well hidden from the tourist trail. The beer range isn’t huge but there are four hand pumps and a few bottles. The staff are friendly and welcoming. (Last visited 28 December 2011).
