| ADfan (16), Orange County, California | | November 20, 2011 Great to have another spot within 5 miles of the house. Very helpful staff that will answer all your questions. They keep you updated on Facebook with new arrivals. | | joet (66), Fulton, California | | November 12, 2011 Fantastic selection and selection, Danny is top notch and will try to get you what you want. Clean and well organized and dominates the area. Wish they had the citra from kern but did get a sample from kern. | | toxichop (18), South Gate, California | | June 24, 2011 [ Updated December 20, 2011 ] Nice looking place and easy to spot with there sign. No walls in the front just glass so you can see everything. This place is kept nice and almost everything is kept in the fridge except for some porters and stouts. Nice glaasware to btw. Good selections of brews the only bad thing some of there stuff like Parabola will be gone in a couple of hours. Possibly cause they also have a facebook where they would post there new big brews. Prices are maybe like a dollar more then bevmo. But there not too bad. The service is excellent, it is easy to tell that the ppl that run the place love craft beer and they know there stuff very well. I will see other customers talking to them like if there buds, maybe thery are? I talk to the guys and there very friendly. One of the workers told me that this place is a working progress. Im not completly sure what that means but if it means more beer, right on! This is an awsome spot but they do need some more beer and Im guessing maybe that will happen. They seem to have some space for it. Update 12-20-11 - Yes since my first visit they have gotten more beer including drie fonteinen I always leave happy except that one time when they told me "nope just sold the last Exponential Hoppiness" I almost cried. lol. awsome store. | | fourplayed (11), Lakewood, California | | January 10, 2011 So Glad to have another place in Long Beach. Good back wall coolers full of a very good selection of craft and imports.
Owner was on the phone with his beer vendor telling him he’d take all he can get...will have no problem selling it all. They had at least 6 bottles of "Infinium" on the shelf...$19+ very competitive.
Good selection overall, not much to add the others have not mentioned.
Price’s are reasonable. Mix and match area to build your own 6 packs are very well priced. I bit farther from Calif Heights liquor for me. But, some selections here are worth dropping in for from time to time to purchase. | | allfreej (73), Louisville, Kentucky | | December 2, 2010 Stopped in twice during a recent business trip to Long Beach. Not a huge selection, but what is there is of the highest quality. The customer service is noteworthy. Oscar was a great help on my first visit and Danny, the owner was terrific during my second visit. Thanks guys! I was able to add several bottles of Russian River, a Lost Abbey, and a bottle of Firestone Walker 14 to my cellar collection.
