If you like an average, completely underwhelming selection of beer and wine, brought to you by a staff of people who sometimes don’t even pronounce the names of said beverages correctly, than this is the place for you. Their prices do not reflect the size of the store...one would think the scale of the place would dictate better deals from the distributors, thus lower prices for the customer base they seem so eager to chase away with prices you can find in any of the city’s smaller establishments. They seem to think that having attractive girls behind the counter will bring in customers, and perhaps this will work for a week or two, but honestly, if you want true value and selection, and a staff of people that will greet your questions with more than blank stares, Hover Crossing is not the place for you.

Looks like a fairly new establishment. Like many liquor/wine stores in Colorado beer comes in third. They had most of the beer in the coolers and row of bombers. Like many stores in this state merely stocking Colorado craft beer should be sufficient to get you into the database. They also had a number of California craft beers including 5 different Russian Rivers. The guy behind the counter was a real beer geek. When he saw that I purchased one of Russian River sour ales and that I was from out of town he suggested I visit Avery in Boulder because they had a new sour on there. That’s the kind of service you like to see.
