| dchmela (96), Orlando, Florida | | February 18, 2012 Great place in Koreatown. Small space, but rather stylish with a dozen taps and some nice bottles. Staff is knowledgeable about beer and they has a small but tasty menu. If you are in the area, you should visit. | | ajm (191), Los Angeles, California | | October 19, 2011 I hate going here. The layout annoys me and it feels like it used to be a coffee shop. If you could take beer out front, then we’d have something. Lots of Cismontagne and other so-so breweries. Also feels like Johnny (the owner) is more of a capitalist than a beer geek, which I’m not cool with. #OccupyTonys | | BMan1113VR (279), Los Angeles, California | | May 24, 2011 Great new place. Has only been open for three days. Free parking lot next door (which is nice for the area). A bit hard to see from the street. Inside has a bit of an industrial feel. Very clean. A small bar and many tables. Two big-screen TVs. Innovative iPhone controlled Jukebox concept for the music. A decent crowd for a Monday night. Bottle list isn’t quite finished yet, but there are quite a few rarities. 11 taps as of now. Mostly all local (LA/OC local), plus 2010 Abyss. Food is small plates, and was EXTREMELY tasty (especially for only being open for 3 days, a few tweaks and it will be absolutely stellar). Very friendly service, and decently knowledgeable. The owner, Jimmy, is a very friendly guy, and knows his beer pretty well. He really takes this place seriously, and I think this will become one of the top beer bar/restaurants in the LA area. I will be back. |
