Nothing amazing but nice for a hotel to get an option among beers. Not a large place a typical hotel bar atmosphere with typical hotel food. Good if you are nearby and want a decent beer but not a destination type place. Service varies.

Here in Cali’ I enjoyed tonight an Old Rasputin RIS on nitro draught at the LAX Sheraton Four Points hotel bar - $6 for a 16 oz. glass. If you have business or pleasure that bring you to LAX, I really recommend visiting this hotel bar, which has a fine 6-tap microbrew selection backed up by about 3 doz. bottle varieties. I also had Chimay white label (Cinq Cents) on tap - server in a Chimay-branded goblet. I have always though Chimay overrated, and although I did not detect this in the RIS, this tastes a bit skunky as if it is not turning over fast enough. The bottle beers can be bought and carried away un-opened - package beer sales of microbrews at a Sheraton adjacent to LAX! For final Friday at March - when we host - I bought a local hippie beer brewed w/cannabis seeds: http://mjguide.com/modules.php?name=Reviews&rop=showcontent&id=2 It was $12 to take away the large sized bottle. I hope it survives in the luggage....

I hadn’t looked on ratebeer, but I heard this advterised as one of the best beer bars in LA. I just so happened to need a hotel near LAX, so I gave it a shot. The breadth of their selection was good, but it was somewhat lacking in depth. Most of the Belgians were things i’ve had, but still one of the better belgian selections I’ve seen at a bar stateside. Interesting beers from, england, germany, czech rep. Could have done a lot more with california beers. the hotel was nice. perfect if you need something by lax, and the bar is worth a stop if you’r in the area, but it wouldn’t be worth a cross LA trip.

Very small bar inside the Sheritan.. I stayed at the Embassy Suites and walked over. The ambiance is a little boring.They have a small selection of good beers, mostly in the bottle. Prices are a little high, but it’s a hotel bar...what do you expect? But when you have to stay near the airport and need a good beer, it’s worthwhile to jog on over.

Stayed here for the night, tried and rated a few, but did not eat. Pretty good choice, staff is knowledgable (by non ratebeer member standards.)
