This is a run-down college-area liquor store. The decent craft beer selection is not very good. And even the ones available are pretty common. If youíre in the area and desperately need beer, itís OK. Otherwise, this is a place to skip.

There are a few of these in Louisville, but this one happens to be in my old neighborhood, and I stopped in while in the area. The place is a liquor store; not much in the way of decor or "ambiance," nor is an attempt made. I donít personally care, but these are the facts. Service was more suspicious than helpful; then again, I came in and started taking pictures without permission, so that is on me. Selection is decent, some Bells, Left Hand, Spaten, NABC, Falls City, SN, and a few others that youíd expect at a basic craft beer store. Everything is cold, so you canít buy warm beer for travel. I didnít notice any food besides basic snacky things, and the value here was average. Itís cool that they have some local New Albanian beer, but everything else is easily acquirable elsewhere; they do not break six packs. If I lived in the area, this could be helpful in terms of getting some of the better known craft beers, but thereís nothing too exotic here.
