Dedicated free parking right in front. The bottles are on the far left and the taps are on the far right. Ambiance is clean pick-up store. Pretty good selection of bottles, but limited quantity. Super fresh Bells Two Hearted. Good pricing and good service. Tap beer was pedestrian.

Overview: Evergreen Liquors is one of the older stores in the area, and is pretty close to Anchorage, KY. It serves an area of the city greatly lacking in good beer spots, and is probably the best in it’s area (that I’m aware of). The store itself is nothing to write home about; your typical small town liquor store with rows of metal shelves. Bottled beer is on the left as you walk in; some on shelves, some in the cooler behind the shelves. A good portion of their stock can be bought cold. Service has been fine for me, and been able to answer basic questions about the beers they have. Selection is actually quite strong here; they do a good job with offering the new, trendy, eccentric and old world stuff that I rather enjoy. Also- the growler station had ALL KY TAPS the last time I visited, and often has at least three or more taps dedicated to KY beer. However, watch for old stock on the shelves (they usually catch this, but have found some older bottles here and there). Prices are competitive with the city, and some things can be found cheaper here. Since this place is a bit removed from downtown, lots of things last here that don’t elsewhere (Hopslam, BCS, etc.). PROS: Strong selection; KY centric growler station (six taps); competitive pricing. CONS: Typical layout; some older stock on shelves. OVERALL: This is a legit place, and worth a visit while in town. It should be on your list if you are traveling, and want to get a good sampling of KY beer. If you’re on the Gene Snyder, it’s about five minutes off the Shelbyville Rd. exit if the traffic isn’t bad. Can be a little bit of a chore to get in/out of during peak times.

Kyle no longer works there. Customer/beer selection has suffered. Store is on the corner of a busy intersection. May be a challenge to pull into the parking lot during rush hour. Met Kyle online when I was looking for some hard to get beers. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about his beers. The store has Three Floyds, Dogfish, Southern Tier among others. Prices are reasonable/competitive with chain liquor stores in the area. I’d go back if I’m the area.

Underrated store. Leans more to wine and liquor. Beer selection is generally a good selection. Staff is friendly and store is clean and in order.

This is a great liquor store. They always have a great selection with knowledgeable and friendly staff. They also always seem to be able to get a hold of rare/hard to find items and I love them for that. Very reasonable prices as well. In addition to that, they have a little humidor with a decent cigar selection and really low prices on good cigars. They also always seem to get the seasonal beers before anyone else does. Great liquor store, one of my favorites.

I am the beer manager at this location. It has definitely grown alot over the past few years. The person who says we only have half of our claimed beer selection is wrong. I just counted this week and we carry 462 different styles. He must have not walked inside the beer cave where over half of our selection is located. Also, I would like to say that our store didn’t really have much of a selection a few years ago, and I am the only one here with extensive beer knowledge, so ask for "Kyle."
