| maxwelldeux (19), Raleigh, North Carolina | | March 13, 2012 [ Updated March 23, 2012 ] This is a great local place to find some cool new and interesting brews. I wouldn’t make a lengthy trip out of the way to get here, but I really like this place, as I live in the area. The service is quite good, and they frequently have new and interesting beers in there. | als (1), Louisville, Kentucky does not count - explanation | | December 30, 2011 Greenhaus is a great place to purchase wine, beer, plants, home decor, chocolate, you name it...all while supporting the local economy. The beer selection is well-rounded and I think anyone could find a beer to suit their needs. There is also a mix and match option with beer so you can try different things while also purchasing your favorites.
The owners are very dedicated and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I often rely on them for suggestions based on things that I know that I like and I always enjoy their suggestions.
If you’re looking for a great selection of a multitude of things as well as a friendly staff and if you have an eagerness to support local businesses, this is the perfect place! | | Ryan82SM (65), Louisville, Kentucky | | December 29, 2011 This is a fairly new spot in town, to my knowledge, and this is the first of probably many updated ratings. The place is modernly decorated, simple. The store is split in two halves- the front for beer, wine, chocolate and plants; the back for furniture, artwork, records, home accessories. The service was one man, who seemed interested in talking about his new beers, and his upcoming selection. He was friendly and approachable, but not overbearing. The selection was nothing too rare, but had solid variety in style and country. There are chocolates from Cellar Door, a local chocolatier, and I have always enjoyed their offerings. Their beer prices weren’t the lowest or highest in the city, about halfway between; reasonable, I’d say. Overall, a place that I think could continue to grow, provided that they keep their bottle list rotating and interesting. |
