Grocery store with a nice walk-in cooler and growler fill. Extremely nice selection of beer for a regular grocery store.

This is the place I go when I wanna take a few great beers home instead of going to a bar. There is a huge selection, many things I did not expect and they also fill growlers with a selection of around 8 drafts on tap. They even had my guilty pleasure Dogfish head world wide stout! The guy who works around the beer (kevin?) was super helpful and explained a lot to me...

Great store in general. Their beer selection is awesome and the gentleman who ruuns the beer department (Kevin) is a great guy and very knowledgeable about beer. They always have a great selection and very fair prices.Aside from the beer, it’s also a great place to get groceries their produce is always fresh. Great beer destination!

Located in the Mid City Mall on Bardstown Rd in the Highlands. They have an nice selection of beers; probably the best packaged beer in the Highlands. Prices are reasonable. Space is rather limited but should not deter from the quality. Would go back again if I’m in the area. Note: I tried to give it a higher rating but I felt pretty good about the category numbers. I guess the rating number has a lot to do with the food rating.

great local grocery with awesome beer cave/selection and decent selection of growlers to go. can be a bit hard to find someone to fill a growler for you at times. most staff are not beer-knowledgeable, but one guy really knows his stuff and is very helpful. and they do invite guest brewers in who offer tastings for a nominal amount. pretty nice features for a local grocery.

Very little of the staff is beer-knowledgeable. No other flaws. Great value, and locally owned.

A simple grocery store in the run down Mid City Mall. My buddy said it had a very nicee beer selection and I laughed at him. BUT, I visited today, and was VERY impressed. The best selection on Bardstown road by far. They had solid Belgian and Euro imports, as well as solid American craft companies--pretty much all the good companies distributed in KY. I have never seen a grocery store carry 3 liter bottles (Samichlaus)--not to mention all the other magnum bottles and specialty bottle/glassware kits that VM carries. They also have about 8 taps for growler fills. Some local, regional and international stuff. I will be visiting again tomorrow to get a growler of Alpha King filled!! I’m hyped!!!!

Awesome selection for a grocery store. They even had Yorkshire Stingo, sorry that I bought multiple... I left a few there on the shelf...

This place always continues to amaze me especially when it comes to beer. The guy who orders and stocks the beer is always around and super friendly and is always asking your opinion on the beer that is currently stocked and what you would like to see...the best part about it is he actually orders it and you’ll probably see it within a week or so. They are also all about being local and supporting local farmers and brewers! One of the best beer selections in the Highlands hands down!
