| esjaygee (204), Oak Creek, Wisconsin | | May 20, 2012 Not a bad selection for a grocery store but I didn’t find anything rare on my visit. Prices seemed in line and they had a fair number of offerings. I almost got hit twice in the parking lot by the same person, once in my car and another time on foot. Service was good and I talked to the beer guy for awhile and he seemed knowledgeable. | | CheersMate (132), Fremont (Seattle), Washington | | April 26, 2011 This was surprisingly a great place. I came here looking for some toiletries, while on business, and was VERY surprised to find the insane selection that they have. The beer/wine/liquor section is completely separate from their store. They have their own cooler in the back, which has an insane selection of American, European, and cheap Wisconsin beers. $2.49 for a 6-pack? Watch out Trader Joe’s. This had a wonderful selection of Goose Island, Great Lakes, Three Floyds, New Glarus, and other Midwestern beers that make me happy in my pants. The service was meh. The guy didn’t seem to like the fact that I had a Washington state I.D.. Well, sorry, dude, but please, while I’m checking out and trying to talk beer, don’t give me shit about having an out of state I.D.. I don’t look ancient, but I do look older than 21. Great place, and I’m glad that I went. | | cbfobes (15), Madison, Wisconsin | | October 14, 2010 Some of the best beer selections you can find in Madison. This place isn’t as big as Woodmans but they have a great selection of brews you can’t find anywhere else in Madison. I love coming to this place for all the Bells Beer that I can’t find anywhere else in Wisconsin. Keep up the good work Hy Vee! |
