| johnnnniee (50), Bedford, New Hampshire | | February 19, 2011 This is on my way home from work, so I shop there often. This little convenience store probably has the largest selection of beer available in Manchester. Its a great selection by NH standards that is, maybe 100 - 200 labels. Most of the area micro brews are available with some regional and nationals represented too. Last trip they had bombers of Rogue, Smuttynose, Ommegang, Unibroue, Lindemans, Harpoon, Duvel, Sam Smith Right now they have a large selection of fall brews Lots of Ocktoberfest and Pumpkins available.
They also have lots of kegs in stock if that’s your thing.
Not the biggest selection by any means and not the least expensive, but you’ll always find something tasty inside. | | Lubiere (349), Ottawa, Ontario | | January 24, 2010 A grubby little convenience store with a decent selection of local stuff, NE offerings, not bad if your in town, but dont expect a gold mine. | | mcox90 (40), Wilton, New Hampshire | | December 9, 2009 Small, sort of shabby little convienence store in downtown Manchester. So not much on ambiance. As to service, it’s a convienence store. The guy stands behind the counter and rings you out. Selection is pretty good for N.H. All the usual stuff. Good selection of Unibroue, Smuttynose, Harpoon, Sam Smith, Manchester Brewing. Plus mass stacks of Bud and Coors of coarse. Plus all the other convienence store stuff, chips, candy bars, magazines, etc. Parking can be a little difficult as it is on street. | | halfonit (64), Fall River, Massachusetts | | October 9, 2009 Not too bad of a place. Has a descent beer selection, but nothing overly impressive. It’s a hidden gem for Manch-vegas. I once asked if they could special order me something and the person who worked there said that the beer doesn’t exist. I though that it was funny because I bought it the next day somewhere else. | andrewjtoland (1), Nashua, New Hampshire does not count - explanation | | August 23, 2008 Nestled in the back of an unassuming convenience store in Manchester, you’ll find one of the most outstanding selections of beer in the area. The selection changes often, and there’s always something new to try. | | changeup45 (78), Mount Dora, Florida | | April 16, 2008 I don’t live in NH anymore but this was one of my regular stops for a long time. Downtown Manch, it looks a bit shady, is pretty much a convenience store but they really do have a decent selection of beer. I was surprised when I first went in there. Rogue, Dogfish Head, Unibroue, Ommegang, Samuel Smith among some of the locals like Smuttynose and Harpoon. They’ll let you buy a single or whatever you want too and the prices were pretty good. It’s small but they do a good job with what they have. | | puboflyons (53), Allenstown, New Hampshire | | June 30, 2007 About ten years ago this used to be the place to buy beer in New Hampshire. But in the last three or four years I think their selection has been much weaker. If you are shopping in the greater Manchester area you would be better off heading East on Route 101 and take Exit 1 to Candia Road Convenience immediately off the exit. They have just about everything. | | DarkMagus (30), San Jose, California | | July 26, 2006 Friendly, helpful owners that keep a sizable stock of a wide variety of beers. Although they don’t have as much exciting variety as some stores in Massachusetts (something having to do with the laws being different?), they do have enough to keep any true beer drinker happy. Singles can be mixed and matched and taken from any six-pack. There are numerous coolers in the back holding six packs and some cases of macros, and there are more coolers dedicated to chilling some bombers, singles, some other treats like lambics and some wines. There’s always a huge stack of high quality beers in cases on the floor of the store (Franziskaner, Dogfish Head, etc.). Very reasonable prices all around, from singles to cases. Very friendly, helpful, happy staff. They’ll browse their distributor’s catalog with you and take requests... if you’re a loyal customer. | | BitchesBrew (48), Oakland, California | | July 30, 2005 [ Updated August 2, 2006 ] Great selection (for New Hampshire), very friendly Nepalese owners- they will gladly try to get different beers for you. This is my standard shop, there really is no other place with such a selection in the area. | | ericnixon (57), Northampton, Massachusetts | | June 14, 2005 The best bunch of beers I’ve found in New Hampshire. It looked like any other sketchy convenience store from the outside, and half the store is. The other half is nothing but regional micro brews with stuff like Dogfish Head, Rogue, Smuttynose, Harpoon, Ommegang, Unibroue, Long Trail, and tons of others. |
