A modern brewpub sitting on its own in a car park off the busy main road. It has a cottagey style, with wooden booths round two sides of the bar and the brewing kit behind glass on either side of the entrance. They do samplers of five beers, all of which were OK if not exciting, and standard food. We had the artichoke dip (always a favourite of mine) and chicken wings. (Visited 30 October 2012).

Made a midweek dinner visit. This place was obviously built as something else (I gather a John Harvardís) and was later taken over. Inside the restaurant is in need of a serious makeover, overly worn and dated. The staff exuded a malaise that fit the decor, bordering on surly -- but in the end the service was Ok. I had two beers -- one somewhat boring and the other actually very good. One big saving grace: the food was much better than the cheesy photo-highlighted menu might suggest. (Brewery #597)

My friends and I love this place. Great food, even better beer, and wise-ass waitresses. Try the butternut squash pizza!

My 49th state rate, plus the District is 50. Large place, central bar. Ten beers on tap, including a cask and a soecial. Slightly scruffy all around. Friendly staff. Food is mediocre. Worth a stop.

Was here when it was a John Harvards or something a few years ago. The only change was to the exterior. Inside is normal bar type ambiance. Six of thier beers on tap, no cask, one guest tap. The bartender was abrupt, no conversation when prompted about the beers even though the place was fairly empty. The food was not very good, had a steak that looked like it came from an IHOP. The beers were fine but not fantastic. The bill was pretty high for 2 beers and a crappy steak. Not going to come back.

The family and I stopped in here this past weekend on the way home from a small trip. Slightly generic in appearance from the outside a pale white building with a brewpub sign on a hugely busy street near the mall and tons of shopping. The inside has a decent sized dining area and an area by the bar with seating and tables. Ubiquitous brew system sits off to the right of the entrance behind glass. The interior of the dining area with its high ceilings and lack of wall hangings reminded me of a pancake house, but I digress. The food was typical pub grub and all at our table called their meals ok but not great. The beer was generally solid with one standout and one disappointment in my sampling. This day they had seven of their brews on tap. I found our meal to be a bit on the pricey side with our family of four spending 90 dollars plus tip on dinner. Overall this was decent, but nothing special. I would go here again if I needed to be in Manchester CT, but I wouldnít make a special trip to come here.

Stopped on my way up to Vermont last week. The food is very good pub fare. Unfortunately, the beers are as uninspired as they were the last 3 times Iíve been there. Every beer was watery and had an astringency that was off putting. Disappointing.
