| Plank10 (10), Maryland | | January 26, 2011 Haven’t eaten here so no food judgement. About 18 taps when I was here including Fat Tire and seasonal Shiner. Crazy cheap bar for beer. all Shiners are 2.25 daily and Fat Tire for 3.50. It’s close to soem major hotels and a large space so it gets an audience. I’ll be here again for decent beer and convenience. | | mlunger12 (38), Tallahassee, Florida | | January 23, 2011 Stopped by when visting my girlfriend as it was close and I was trying to find Hopslam... to no avail. All the ambiance of a Warehouse, carried all the usuals... Terrapin, Bells, Sweetwater but they did have some Bourbon Barrel Old Stock which was nice to see. Service was nice if not completely clueless about beer, I’ll probably stop by again if just for it being 5 minutes away. | | ChainGangGuy (23), Canton, Georgia | | February 28, 2009 The store’s selection is above average for a warehouse beer-wine-liquor joint, with most of the currently distributed beers making an appearance (DFH, R.J. Rockers, Lagunitas, Great Divide, Oskar Blues, Stone, etc) as well as all the expected local offerings, but, if anything particularly rare or limited rolls through Georgia, don’t expect it to show up here. Pricing is fairly average. Personally, I would drive past Sherlock’s and head to Bullock’s further in Marietta, but, being a mere stone’s throw from the Interstate 75, it’s WAAAY more convenient for travelers.
After over six years of visiting Sherlock’s, though less and less frequently as time goes on, I’ve always found the staff to be disinterested, entirely unknowledgeable, and at times, downright surly. | | SpringsLicker (101), Tennessee | | September 16, 2008 [ Updated March 9, 2010 ] Average to slightly below for Georgia’s standards, but on occasion, I have found a brew that was sold out at the two Green’s locations that I was looking for. I always stop and usually take home something just the same.
Frequent buyer club discounts on selected items. Fairly good selection of Georgia and Atlanta area breweries though. |
