February 28, 2009 The store’s selection is above average for a warehouse beer-wine-liquor joint, with most of the currently distributed beers making an appearance (DFH, R.J. Rockers, Lagunitas, Great Divide, Oskar Blues, Stone, etc) as well as all the expected local offerings, but, if anything particularly rare or limited rolls through Georgia, don’t expect it to show up here. Pricing is fairly average. Personally, I would drive past Sherlock’s and head to Bullock’s further in Marietta, but, being a mere stone’s throw from the Interstate 75, it’s WAAAY more convenient for travelers.
After over six years of visiting Sherlock’s, though less and less frequently as time goes on, I’ve always found the staff to be disinterested, entirely unknowledgeable, and at times, downright surly. |
September 16, 2008 Average to slightly below for Georgia’s standards, but on occasion, I have found a brew that was sold out at the two Green’s locations that I was looking for.
Frequent buyer club discounts. Fairly good selection of Georgia and Atlanta area breweries though. |
