If you reside in Marion, this is the place to go for your beer. I have not yet talked to anyone who is terribly knowledgeable about the craft yet, although to be fair, I haven’t really asked. The beer selection is very good for the Cedar Rapids area, which unfortunately doesn’t say a whole lot. They have good selections of most of the larger micros (Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, etc.), a few selections from breweries like Bells, Left Hand, and Goose Island, an underwhelming section of Belgians, and a small selection of Germans. I mainly go to their BYO 6-pack selection, where in the past I have found Midas Touch, all of the high proof Unibroues, Rogues, Ommagang’s Witte, among others at the price of $9/6-pack. It’s hit or miss though, sometimes the selection in the pick 6 is just rubbish.
