| NachlamSie (357), Tennessee | | December 10, 2009 This is a cool market with high quality meat and produce available. The beer selection is probably more eclectic than anywhere else I know of in sleepy little Maryville. The corner of beer is not very extensive, but they focus only on craft/import and rotate out the selection often. Beers are available here that are not carried by other stores in the county. This is great considering the area, but not worth a special stop if one is not staying in the county. | | nearbeer (144), Knoxville, Tennessee | | August 16, 2009 [ Updated April 9, 2010 ] Not nearly as good a selection as Countryside Market, but far more accessible to most. Nice cozy atmosphere and one of the few places you can get rabbit meat around here, besides growing, shooting or trapping it yourself. Great steaks as well. An interesting specialty grocery shop but not really much of a beer store and thus my lower overall rating. Buy the interesting foodstuffs here, then go to Food City for a mixed-six pack with more beer choices. | | Suttree (120), Knoxville, Tennessee | | June 8, 2009 Its a deli, meat market, seafood shop, farmers market under one roof. They try to focus on local (except for seafood, obviously) and the meat and veggie selection is top nothc. The beer selection is fair to good, depending on the whims of local distributors. This is probably the last stop for good beer before the Smokies, if you are travelling through the Blount County side. |
