The Reserve Wine and Spirits

It’s a small place that focuses on wine and liquor, but WOW this place has certainly upped their beer game since they first opened 5 years ago. The Malt Vault is a nice walk-in cooler where beers are kept at about 60-65 degrees. Others are in a refrigerated (~45F) upright display and there are 4 well-selected taps for growler fills. The ambiance and service are both relaxed and unhurried, which I like. They also discount bottles to move before expiration, which is mostly a foreign concept in the beer desert of East Tennessee. Not really a beer destination to seek out, but it’s in the top tier in East TN and definitely the best in the Alcoa/Maryville area.

This is a new place in Maryville. The selection is a good as you are going to find in the area, and beer is stored in the "Malt Vault" at cellar temps. Good service and attention to detail. If only I lived closer...
