3 reviews for Market Street
| Swalden28 (24), McKinney, Texas | | April 23, 2008 I live down the street. I like this store, They have a beer person on all shifts and a couple of them do know their stuff, but I think the store wants to concentrate more on wine sales, but I have met a couple of beer knowledgable people working here. They have the best selection I have seen in a grociery store. | | Lumpy (50), Carrollton, Texas | | September 14, 2005 It is Central Market light. Not bad for McKinney, but no matter how much beer you buy and consume, you are still in McKinney. It is wall to wall yuppie, money, and people who know that they are better than you. | | Kevin (56), Colorado | | September 18, 2004 Went in to check out this place it is an upscale grocery store/gourmet foods place. beer selection is comparable to central market. prices suck, but that is probably because there are very few competitors in Mckinney since they only recently legalized beer sales. service was non existant, people would not make eye contact with me. register check out was very slow and i was in the express lane. and they opened another lane , but pulled customers from the back of the line, not the front. that pisses me off, i would like to say i won’t be back, but it is close to a few friends houses so i probably will when i am faced with the choice of BMC or going back to this snobish bastion of yuppiedom. |
