The Pub

The taps were down (all except Guinness nitro) which the bartender says happens more often than not. The Wi-Fi router was broken so no Wi-Fi. The bottle selection contained a decent amount of locals with some great national brews as well. I had the baked brie which was quite good and have had the shepherd’s pie which was also good. I go out for drafts as i can buy bottles in the store for way cheaper so i marked down about that and the fact that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. Hence the low sore. Cheers!

Nice pub feel, good food, pub food, fried pork skins, good beer on draft, including locals. Nice staff. Still expect restaurant prices.

Typical bar setting, dark interior, high seats / tables. Food is pretty expensive for what you get, always have a nice surprise on tap though

Nice little pub located on the square in downtown McKinney. Owned by the same people who own the Fillmore in Plano, so if you have been there you pretty much can imagine what this place is like. Nice selection of 15 taps, with a good number of local beers. I was there when the place was not very crowded and found the bartender helpful. The food menu is also very nice. I had a roasted beef sandwich with horseradish and au jus that was outstanding. My order was quickly taken and the food was delivered quickly. Located about 100 feet from Square Burger, so there is no reason you can’t hit both places in one night.

Typical pub interior, lots of dark wood. We sat at our table for at least 15 minutes waiting on someone to help us and they weren’t even that busy. Pedestrian selection though they sometimes have a gem or two. Go to Square Burger instead if you are in the area.
