A quality beer destination in the suburbs. Pretty good food, especially the Neptune Burger (topped with crab meat). Very different kind of tap list from most of the places in the area, as they do not carry local beers. Gives the place a very different flavor for a change of pace. Almost always have Aventinus on tap, in the correct glassware, so that is a major plus for me. Lots of Bells products too, last stop there netted me a Third Coast Old Ale. The proximity to Iron Hill and Pinnochio’s (for take out bottles) adds to making it a great stop for a fun night of drinking. Highly recommended suburban stop.

Located directly across from Iron Hill Media on State Street. Quotations and Iron Hill compliment each other, beer bar and a brewpub. Quotations has a decent sized square bar with HDTV’s and large window looking out on busy State Street. Service was fair, food menu was wide with appetizers, seafood, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. There is a beer list upon request and has a diverse offering including Rouge, Bell’s (Hop Slam) Victory, and Blue Point. Quotations can stand on its own as a destination but with proximity to Iron Hill it makes State Street in Media a beer geek’s destination.
