| Countbeer (105), Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, Netherlands | | November 19, 2011 Located close to the highway on an industrial zone and pretty easy to find.
A very small selection of English beers (18 bottles) in between all those Belgian beers! A lot of Belgian stuff (though, there are places with more Belgian stuff), small big and very big bottles for prices between cheap to more expensive.
But overall normal priced.
Next to that a good selection of wine, liquor and lots of soda and fruit juice. Like any regular Belgian garage-like beer place.
Service isn’t really present unless you ask for it.
All by all worth a visit, then proceed your way into Belgium! | | Benzai (47), Oirschot, Netherlands | | November 19, 2011 Large store with a decent part of the building arranged for beers. Picked up around 25 bottles I’d never had. Service was very good: in the centre of the building we could taste 2 beers for free. Plus the girls at the counter were pretty hot :D Decent prices as well. | | Martinus (70), Nijmegen, Netherlands | | July 15, 2011 Quite a nice shop, though well hidden on the industrie zone. OK selection, obviously the staples but quite some gems hidden in between. Warrants an occasional check up. Personel are mostly high school students working to earn a few bucks, there is not much knowledge or helpfulness to expect. | | erickok (36), Leiden, Netherlands | | May 25, 2011 Warehouse full of Belgian beers. Prices are cheap to very cheap (compared to my Dutch standards) but it’s pretty much only the medium-sided Belgian breweries offered here. Some rarer and micro-brewery ones if you’re lucky. Staff was pretty friendly but it’s more of a storage area than a tasting room (although there is a bar). For anyone Dutch taking a trip to Belgium is such an each stop you’ll have to do it. | | rotjoch (35), Antwerpen, Belgium | | February 22, 2011 Not a bad beerstore. located in a industrial zone spot on the border between belgium and the netherlands. Decent to good range of beers, but they are not logically placed, so you end up spending a lopt of time checking if they’ve got a certain beer or not. only belgians, almost nothing more northern. very few specials, most beers are ’middle of the road’( for people used to geers and willems, that is...). i wouldn’t take a detour for it, but when driving on the E19 to the netherlands, worth taking a stop, since it is so close to the freeway. | | altonbrownd (146), Brussels, Belgium | | January 27, 2011 Big wharehouse tucked away on the main freeway on the Belgian/Dutch border. Almost exclusively Belgian beers with some nice smaller labels. Also picked up some Finnish beers very cheap. Not a beer above EUR 1, which shocked me considering how much I usually pay for beer... | | BartC (21), Lichtaart, Belgium | | May 4, 2010 Very large beershop a bit hidden in the transport area of Meer/Hoogstraten. Very nice selection and fair priced. A nice stop especially for the Dutch beer enthousiasts. | | Tim Webb (106), Cambridge, England | | August 8, 2009 Industrial scale beer shop at the Dutch border. Directions in GBG Belgium. | | SHIG (139), Anchorage, Alaska | | January 31, 2009 Stopped by here and was amazed when I walked in. They have everything you could ask for in a beer store, glasses, seasonals, beer sets, and even a few rare beers. They also have huge sections of cases for the regular session drinker. Worth a stop if your in the area. | | Bart (74), Brussels, Belgium | | July 31, 2007 Large hall with a nice selection of belgian beers on the dutch/belgian border. |
