82 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 TheGrandMaster (105) Auckland, New Zealand | July 2, 2012 So much more than a bottle shop. The coolest place to drink in Mexico City, with plenty of cool people drinking there. The type of place I like to go, anywhere in the world.. And the beer? One of the few oasis in the city - you won’t be disappointed with both the Mexican or global selection. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 20/20 crackedmachine (8) Seattle, Washington | June 26, 2011 A bar/bottle shop located in the Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City. A great spot with a terrace, TV, and free popcorn if you want to drink in the store. Bottles are priced to go, and to drink in there is a slight surcharge. Also has six or so taps. Good selection of Mexican micros, as well as European imports, with a lot of German beers, and a few Belgians. They also sell merch from brewers: shirts, glassware, etc. You won’t find sours, or much in the way of American micros, or anything too out there, but a very solid selection for being in corporate-brewery-dominated Mexico. |
