I was surprised by the nice selection here as South Beach is nearly devoid of craft or import beers of any quality save for Abraxas and Burger n Beer Joint.
Stopped in for lunch, the first beers we ordered were not available, but the manager came out and told us he rotates the selection (though the menu fails to be updated). Our server was also very attentive though she didn’t know much about the beers.

Jean La Frite is a little Belgium cafe on South Beach. Decent selection of Belgium beers at a good price. Nothing rare, but definitely above average selection for South Beach. The menu is limited but good. Spoke with one of the owners, nice guy, said they’ve only been open for a few months and will be adding items to their beer and food menu. Not very South Beach right now, let’s hope it stays that way. |
