10 reviews for Zeke’;s Roadhouse
| DeadGirl (32), West Palm Beach, Florida | | October 11, 2009 Was lucky to find this hole in the wall on Lincoln Rd, surrounded by nightclubs and trendy restaurants. A poster outside listing they had 400 bottles drew me in immediately. A great find! The staff (all young guys) are keen on making good recommendations for anybody, however when it came to knowing beer styles, it was hit or miss. Cool people though. Rare ales in the store from all over the world- didn’t matter where they were from though, all beers in the store are just $4! Drank some Lagunitas and left. Would love to come back again. #7 on 11102009 DG. | | quiquesan (12), Miami, Florida | | August 30, 2009 Great little hole in the wall to get some good beer in the middle of trendy lincoln road. Beers are great just $4 for anything they have which is quite a bit. I would guess about 100+ beers in bottles and another 6 or so on tap. Great to take a walk on the beach and finish off with a nice cold beer people watching. | | smith4498 (16), Miami, Florida | | March 25, 2009 Big selection of bottled beer with about 10 taps. Not much going on inside but outside is great for people watching. Nothing rare, but a bunch of odd beers. Went on a Thursday late afternoon so it wasn’t too crowded and service was prompt. All beers are $4 - cash only. | | Butters (150), Virginia | | March 24, 2009 Glad Jason and I could stop here on our beer hunt in Miami. Probably the largest selection in the area. Certainly for the best prices - only $4 a beer - for everything they served! Not bad for a bar. The had bags of chips and hotdogs for food, but it doesn’t really matter cause there are about a bazzillion restaurants in the same walking strip. You can definitely find some ratings here, and due to the large number of crazy imports, probably fill up some of your map as well. | | Rustyham (25), miami, Florida | | January 11, 2009 I work night shifts a block away so it is now one of my lunch break musts. About 12 on tap, including Old Speckled Hen and Young’s Double Chocolate stout (both nitro beers) but the ambiance is too California. Plus, the bar stools are too low making you feel like a five your old in a soda shop. Best time to go is during the week, weekends it gets so packed you have to wait half an hour to get a beer. Another problem is that they card everyone as soon as they walk in, so you can’t bring underage friends here just to waste time with them. | | presario (105), Calgary, Alberta | | September 12, 2008 I like these little bottle shops. Dark place with a few seats at the beer but 50 seats under umbrellas on the patio. Great selection at great prices. Fun to sit and watch the foot traffic on Lincoln and to see the different beers everone is drinking. Ambiance inside is 1, outside its a 4 assuming the sun is shining. | | daknole (90), Plantation, Florida | | May 5, 2008 [ Updated June 8, 2009 ] The atmoshpere is nothing to write home about, but it isn’t bad either. Large selection of bottles and a few decent taps and all beers are $4...pretty good deal. | | Oakes (421), gone rambling, Vietnam | | April 27, 2008 [ Updated October 19, 2008 ] Good casual atmo. Lots of outdoor seating, which on Lincoln Rd has good people watching. Food seems to consist largely of microwaved popcorn. A good starting point. The price of the beer is now $4 (it used to be $3), which diminishes its value. | | mgumby10 (47), Jupiter, Florida | | March 7, 2008 Small little place. Had a dozen or so taps with some decent selections to choose from, but had what looked like about 100 or so bottles as well. Had some 60 minute on draft. Service was decent enough. Not gonna find anything super special here, but its worthy of a trip if your looking to knock a few back for a few hours. | | Beershine (261), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam | | March 7, 2008 Zeke’s has been on Lincoln Road since the 90s but went on hiatus for a few years before re-opening last November. The place is reminiscent of Key West: very casual, laid back, and kitchy. The beer selection is decent and right now includes a few good taps like DFH 60. The bottle selection is quite large, and includes a multitude of macro imports and American micros. What’s more is that all the beers (tap or bottle) are exactly $3, tax included. So it’s a good place to have a few even if you would not want to stay all night. |
