JeffreyD (3), Homestead, Florida does not count - explanation | | March 25, 2012 Decent selection. Very helpful staff although not very knowledgeable. I grabbed a couple Double Bastard Ales that I didn’t expect to find. They had Dogfish 120 as well, but the price was a bit too high. This was my first time there, I will definitely go back to see how the stock moves and their selection changes. | | misrahi (15), Tallahassee, Florida | | November 16, 2011 Nice whole in the wall kind of store. Lived down the street for years and never noticed the selection inside. Polite staff, though unless you speak with the owner they know very little about the products they have. Moderate selection of American Micro’s and seasonals with a few Belgians peppered in. All in all one of the best places in Miami, but that’s not saying a lot. A good stop in if you’re in town and in need of a craft beer fix. FYI decent Cuban food for what is is. | | ExpendableHero (24), Florida | | January 30, 2011 This is a nice little beer nook. Basically a small convenience store resembling a gas station, and selling what typical gas stations do. Nice selection of craft beer, you can find assorted odds and ends. Staff is friendly and they also serve food. The prices were also quite agreeable. Nice place. | Silencio305 (1), Miami, does not count - explanation | | February 20, 2010 They have a nice selection. Better selection than local supermarket beers. | | Rustyham (84), Nashville, Tennessee | | February 1, 2009 If you ar ein the area, you must stop by, especially since Sunset Corners is closed on Sundays. Not only is this place loaded with random beers (they try to organize them, but it just doesn’t work out) you can pick up some cuban food, too. | | cbeers21 (35), Miami, Florida | | August 10, 2008 This is a surprising little gem which has a much better supply than common sense would indicate. This has better hours and rivals almost any other place in the area for selection. A good amount of obsucrities can be found, however many are out of date, and I have gotten a few duds every now and then. People are friendly, hours are good and the prices are reasonable. | | Beershine (540), The Sunshine State, Florida | | January 16, 2008 [ Updated January 21, 2008 ] A run-down and large convenience store that has an above-average beer selection for the South Miami area. The selection has dwindled a little in recent years but some oddities can be found. Unfortunately, storage conditions are less than ideal, so take your chances with the more expensive ones. I’ve gotten more than one bad bottle here and returns are not as easy as they would be in a bigger or more reputable store. The selection is worldly and includes semi-rare beers and ciders from the Baltic states, Australia, and the Caribbean in addition to Western Europe and North America. Those interested in odd macros might find this place a good pit stop. |
