Good selection, different from the one on the Iowa side, although its possible because of different distribution of beer makers or possibly something else. Not really that much different being in a Hyvee, its apart of the store, but still pretty good.

I’ve worked here for about 4 summers, and this place really has it going on. The ambiance is fine - it’s a store - what do you want, exactly? The selection is good and varied. At the moment the place is lacking bombers because of a city law, but I’m getting it changed, and once the law goes through, there will be much more. The value is fine - Hy Vee doesn’t mark beers up too bad by any means. The service is great! We have myself and my manager for beer, both homebrewers and practically beer experts. We also have three certified wine specialists (including myself) and another guy who basically is, just never took the test. Overall, this is a nice place with a great selection of beers, wines, and spirits, with a knowledgeable and friendly staff.
