A mecca for South Minneapolitan beer lovers. The owner and bartenders are extremely beer knowledgable and they have an excellent, ever changing selection of beers. Also have cask beers on tap that change per week.

Nice bar in South Minneapolis. Had a good selection on tap, excluding the Stella for $6 :-) 100ish bottles as well. Only complaint is the individual bathroom for dudes. Some guy was camped out in there and we had a line 3 deep waiting to go.

went here a couple times when I was in the city. The last time I went I was waiting for my wife to land in the MSP airport. They had KBS on tap!!! I was alittle upset that I couldn’t drink more because I had to pick up my wife (safety first). They only have about 20 taps but it’s all great beer on ever tap. They have a good bottle selection and the srevers are wonderful. I brough in my backpack and I was able to sit at a table, read and drink great beer. On top of that I had a waleye Rachel and it was superb. The fries are sublime aswell. This place is great high recommended!!!!

Nice place nestled right in the Minneapolis suburbs. Good selection of craft beers. Staff is typically kind of crabby. Food was ok but a bit pricey. Parking can be a little tough when it is busy. Liked the atmosphere. Update: I really want to try to like this place but I have now been here 4 times and everytime it’s something. This time they were out of pizza dough and the food seemed really greasy. Probably won’t be back, just too many other good options in the cities for cheaper.

The burgers here are almost better than the beers. Great food, neighborhood bar feel, anf a fine selection of beers make for a great place. If only the food was a bit cheaper.

Awesome neighborhood bar in South Minneapolis. Great beer selection, 25-30 taps and 109 bottles when I was there. Our server was knowledgable. Small place with dark wood decor.

Nice, tiny place in a quiet S. Minneapolis neighborhood. Last time I was in, the menu stated 109 bottles and 30 taps. However, the first two tap beers I requested were no longer. I also noticed bottles in coolers that were not on the beer list. However, the selection was impressive for a neighborhood bar. Food is way better than average bar food. The burgers are quite delicious. Service is slightly better than average but nothing exceptional. Prices were in line with other local craft beer bars. Definitely worth a look... just ask how updated the beer list is. The family and I will be back for burgers and beer again for sure.

My local neighborhood bar - has an unbelievable selection of quality taps (about 28) and bottles (102 to choose from last time I was there). Service is great, although it can be slow at times. The food is excellent for bar food, but there isn’t much to choose from. The popularity of the place is definitely starting to pick up, as it can be a wait to get a table on Friday or Saturday night as this small place fills up easily.

I was in the area eating dinner with my wife, so we decided to stroll on over to Busters after hearing about the good beer selection. Almost missed the joint, as it is not a very big establishment (yet). We arrived around 7:45 PM and it was packed. Eventually we found a seat at the bar. The service was a little slow, but there was only one main bartender working. The tap list was expansive and there was 88 bottle listings. I enjoyed a Rodenbach Grand Cru, setting me back $8 but it was worth it, especially since this is a beer they will not be distributing to the US very soon. Kudos to Busters for still having this on tap. The couple next to us enjoyed a bottle of Ommegang Three Philosophers I told them that was an excellent choice, albeit expensive. Finished with a Furious which was on special at $4 for a pint. All in all a pretty decent place. I overheard that they plan to expand the bar and grill soon, as they are buying a couple of the stores currently adjoined to the place. I’ll be interested in returning after the renovation.

Busters was a pleasant discovery. Residential neighborhood setting that you’ll miss if you blink. There’s apparently been a bar in this building for many years, but the owners of Busters upgraded, updated and upscaled the place. Long, but not quite as narrow as say a MacKenzie’s. Nice dark wood finishes on the walls. Very good tap selection. In addition to the beers listed on the tap list on their website, I was treated to Avery Maharaja on tap last night. Sadly it ran out shortly thereafter. Busy on a Friday night finding a table was a bit of a challenge, even at 9pmish. Had the walleye sandwich which was very good. Beer lines seem to be clean, although I think the place is pretty new, so to be expected. Location is a little out of the way for a lot of people unless you live in South Minneapolis. Still, this is a warm, nice, neighborhood bar with good food and a good beer selection that is worthy of the trek. Located between the 38th st. and 46th st. Hiawatha light rail stations, although a bit of a hike to walk from either as it is about 5 blocks west of the line. The 38th st. station is closer, at about .7 mi. Beer selection is among the better ones in the city, beating out Acadia Cafe and MacKenzie’s, although perhaps not as good as say a Bryant Lake Bowl.
