This is a service industry place. Loud, unpredictable downtown bar with a very respectable tap list. Legendary for its wildly, somewhat delightfully random service standards, under which being given multiple comped drinks and being willfully ignored are equally, and always, in play.

I really dig this space and its location in DT, even though I hate DT. Iíd come here more if the prices werenít outragous. Laid back service, bordering ignoring, but I donít really care here, as I just come when Iím invited to meet people and chat,

Visited pretty late on a Friday night and found it rammed with a pretty bro-heavy crowd. Itís a long, narrow space that seems to really amplify noise, so donít come here if youíre looking for a quiet drink. I scored the last seat at the bar and had reasonably good service. The selectionís OK, a decent amount of locals featured. Donít expect to find anything really out of the ordinary. Prices were acceptable given the central location. I wouldnít rush back, but itís a solid option if youíre in the area.

Artisan Meatballs and Beer. Great concept! When we visited, there were several beers form the brewery "Epic" on draft. Our server acted like he just drank 12 redbulls, but he was really nice. I ordered a slider of every meatball with the recommended sauce pairing, and the poutine. Everything was awesome except the falafel was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like breaded mashed potatoes. We had a really nice afternoon here in downtown Minneapolis, and I look forward to returning here in the evening some time.

Here at 6 pm on a Fri evening with some food friends. Great free appetizers brought to our table. Noisy and busy. Very helpful and friendly staff. Draft selection seems better than botttle. Full service bar with a respectible variety. No prices listed. Lots of wood and brick. Iíd come again

I had been anticipating the opening of this place for months and after a delay it opened with seemingly no fanfare. Visited on a Sunday evening and the place was dead, as in my buddy and I were the only patrons despite happy hour prices all day on sundays. By the time we left about 2 hrs left, there were 2-3 other parties that came in. Appears theyíre relying on word of mouth..and theyíll get it, one of the best beer selections in the Cities. Similarly priced to Butcher and the Boar and Muddy Waters for beers. So thatís the downside. The upside is that the selectnion is far superior to Butcherís and will be ever changing. A conversation with the bar manager made it clear that beer is a top priority. Refreshingly, you wonít find Surly on tap. Food is excellent with the menu focus on meatballs. Decor is nice with brick and a long wooden bar. Three TVs. Check it out.
