Stopped by on a Friday night. Cool place tucked away in a warehouse area of Minneapolis. Very nice tap room, although people smoke right outside of the open windows, making it seem as if there are people smoking right in the room. Fast service. Selection is pretty limited, but they do have dry hopped versions of some of the beers available, two cask pours, and at least one nitro. What they lack in quantity they make up for in quality though. Prices are quite reasonable. Overall, definitely a solid place, and I look forward to seeing where this brewery goes.
Re-rate: Stopped by on a Friday evening. This place is killing it in terms of beer quality, and the selection and prices were solid. There were even places to sit, and the service was quick. One of the top breweries in the state now.

Turns out this is right around the corner from where we used to live. Would have been dangerous to have it so close. Pretty fun atmosphere, and some very good beers.

A smallish tap room with a small patio out side with a cool overall vibe. Often a wait to get in on the weekends which is a bit of a downer. Nice re purposed wood throughout the place. Service is good considering the usual crowd. Always seems to be a cask on with a few rare taps which makes it well worth the visit. Food trucks are often there, but no kitchen in the place itself. Price are solid. One of the better breweries around town IMO.

Really nice taproom, with a pretty big outdoor patio. I was a little limited on time, so I only had one tapper, but also bought some bottles of Rum King. Tap selection was pretty limited at the time, I think maybe I was just unlucky with my timing. I would probably stop back again, at least next year for Rum King again, if not before.

Definitely a place worth seeking out. Itís located a bit out of the way in Northeast Minneapolis, but itís close enough to some other breweries to make it part of a nice crawl. The tap roomís a standard affair with a food truck out front. There were only 7 beers available at the time of my visit. I tried a great black IPA and a decent rum barrel aged stout. Service was very friendly. Prices were great. Overall, one of my favorite stops during my tour of the city. Recommended.

This place doesnít look like much from the outside (basically a warehouse), but very spacious inside with a long bar. There is an outdoor patio as well. They had 4 beers on tap when I was there, not sure if this was just a less productive time for them. We tried all of them - APA, black IPA, oktoberfest, and sweet potato ale - all very good. There is no food per se, but there is a food truck. The particular one there when I visited was somewhat expensive ($8 for 2 small tacos)...nonetheless, very tasty! The beer is very good, definitely worth a stop, although the selection is limited.

Thursday night in August. We got there well before closing, but the food truck was already packing up :-(. Although as an out-of-towner, this seems like itís way out-of-the-way, the beer is good, the feel of the space is awesome, and the beers we tried were all great. Definitely a place Iíd go back to. The amount of time and money that were invested in this project was staggeringly apparent when the taproom opened; it was also probably an indication of how much presumed money there was to be made in the still young Minneapolis craft beer market. Nearly three years later, the indeed taproom has become one of the premier beer destinations, taproom or otherwise, that the city has to offer. Seasonal tend to rotate frequently, and there are usually several cask, nitro, or house infusions available. No food served by the establishment; instead, local food trucks are always outside. Be aware that it can feel understaffed, and that bar etiquette on the customer side of the counter can get pretty dicey when the place gets truly mobbed, and that this is not uncommon.

Indeed was my 5th stop in a 2 day 6 brewery craft beer tour of MSP a few weeks ago (after Surly, Steel Toe, Fulton, 612). I found the place very enjoyable, and the staff friendly enough. It was very inconvient that they didnít have flights...so I ordered half pints of all their beers and left some unfinished. The bartender was nice enough to recognize my plight though and let me split 2 of the half pints over 4 styles to save some money and waste. Overall my favorites were the Let It Ride IPA and the special cask version of Burr Grinder "Amaretto" Coffee Ale. This is one of the nicer brewery tasting rooms...especially when one can avail themselves of the outdoor seating. Note that the pizza vendor stationed outside makes some very decent pizza...donít know if they are regulars at Indeed or not...but a very nice compliment to their beers. Overall a worthwhile stop on my brewery tour.

Very pleasant taproom in an old renovated brick building. Crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Lines outside waiting to get in and lines at the bar. Crowd seemed quite mixed in age and appearance. Indeed brewing artwork on the wall. No TVs (thank you)! Fairly loud but tolerable compared to many beer places. Service was a bit slow and unsmiling, with only two people working the bar and lots of people buying growlers. Beer is good to very good. Nine taps, including two cask. No sampler flights available. 10oz. for $3.75; 16oz for $5; and 20oz for $5.50. I liked this place (it seems to have a real identity) and the beers. I would definitely come back.
