This place has a long bar, a handful of tables inside and out, and a comfy sofa section. Five taps on when I visited, all local and regional stuff. The very pleasant server told me to look through the coolers for interesting bottles. The cooler up front had the same selection as the local liquor store. But there’s also a cooler in the back, with a handful of interesting things from Ontario and Quebec, as well as Belgium, Germany and the US. Food is limited to pate, which were tasty enough. A pleasant place to people watch and idle away an afternoon.

Surprising what a vision can do, and the gumption to overcome the obstacles from the local liquor agency... you never know what you will find here as far as beer, but there’s one thing I know, I can go back and be sure there’ll be a couple of beers I haven’t tried yet. The Mecca for beer lovers for miles around. And friendly to boot.

Probably the best place in the province for oddball imports, at least as long as the Garrison in Fredericton remains closed after their fire. Only 6 taps, and the only place to get Celtic Knot or Acadie Broue beers, which unfortunately were sold out when I visited. Was only $20 for a draft, an import bottle and two iced mochas. their coffee is good too, but I didn’t try the food. Just some limited snacks. Be sure to check out the coolers back by the washroom, that’s where most of the uncommon beer is kept.

Eclectic and casual spot in midtown Moncton. Good local draft selection (6 taps comprising 3 Pump House, 1 Picaroons and 2 Garrison when I was in) and solid selection of bottles for the area. Service is friendly and informed. Decent value. If it were in Toronto it might not really stand out, but if it were there it would also be full of insufferable people. It’s not though and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Moncton.

I our prohibition like province, you won’t find a better beer bar. Marky makes a great effort to bring in as many quality beers as possible to please the local bustling craft beer/import crowd.
