Beautiful setting in a large abbey-like hall. I visited out of season, so it wasn’t crowded, but I got the impression that the place could absorb busloads of people if it needed to. Food was very tasty and of course their beers are solid. | | BriSava (77), , Japan | | May 15, 2011

A great brewery to visit with excellent beers. Attached to their home, Jean-Pierre was kind enough to give us a private tour of the brewery. The brewery building is beautiful, made with bricks from the remains of the abbey that used stand nearby, it even has arched abbey-like windows. The tasting room, part of the house, is a warm living room complete with a fireplace and antique lantern collection. A must visit if you’re in Belgium! |
