Despite being quite far away from the center, the place is very popular with the young local crowd. Aside from offering a few of their own original brews and a nice selection of top Quebec drafts, they also offer various activities such as comedy shows, improvisation league, NHL games on TV and a fuss-ball table. Food-wise, their pizzas seem popular, they also offer ribs and a few smoked meat dishes. Somehow the place is a bit victim of its success and can get quite loud while service may sometimes be a bit slow despite being one of the more pricey places in town.

A small brewpub/bar in Montreal. Not too busy on a Monday evening, plenty of indoor wooden tables with apparently some outdoor seating (which I didn’t see). Unfortunately Monday is "les lundis douteux" in which they air "questionable short films"..and they certainly were questionable...anyway. They have very few house beers on tap, maybe 3-4. Mostly they feature guest beers, most of those are from Quebec. A pretty expansive list (and they have bottles too) so it really functions more as a bar than a brewpub. They have mostly Belgian bottles, as well as Brewdog, Mikkleler, De Molen, and some others. The food menu is fairly short, featuring meat plates, pizza, poutine, etc. Probably a bit overpriced though (I got the "assiette smoked meat" for $13 which was a small smoked meat sandwich and fries). Overall a pretty good place, wide selection that features Belgian styles and higher gravity beers. I would try to avoid visiting on Monday though because the films aired were very loud and strange and off-putting (otherwise the ambiance was fine...)

Went for some dinner here and a bunch of samplers. The duck wings are highly recommended for a greasy dinner. I was kind of disappointed with the beer quality, given that Brouhaha’s beers are quite highly regarded in Montreal. Wasn’t blown away by anything really. Service is very solid and the prices are a little steep.

Brewpub located just outside of Montreal’s downtown, which, although a little farther to get to, makes it definitely easier (see cheaper) to park. Old building that still reeks of old cigarette smoke. The inside is dark and a little musty but still inviting. They are big on playing sporting events, you can catch every Montreal Canadiens game, the olympics were on when I was there. Service was done by only one waiter but was very efficient despite the crowd growing into the afternoon. The selection is very good. They have about 6 taps of their own stuff, several other quebec micros on tap and several imported bottles (lots of de molen and classic belgians when I was there). The food menu is short but good and reasonably priced. It might not be my everyday place if I lived in Montreal, but it is certainly a worthy stop.

Visisted during their 4th anniversary. Great tap list of home brewed beers, and guest taps. Service was friendly and prompt. Got some free veggies and sliders. Atmosphere is great, wonderful brewpub feeling. You are here to have great beer not fill your face with food. It’s a little off the beaten track in Montreal, but worth seeking out.

Many visits to this typical old tavern style brewpub with two separate rooms. Sometimes really good selection, sometimes really average. Limited to extended selection of imports with sometimes really good stuff in there (Jolly Pumpkin, Stone, Fantôme, Cantillon). Staff is really knowledgeable and service is really kind if sometimes a little slow when overcrowded, but I guess this is just normal. Food selection is short, but if you’re a meat lover, you’re gonna be just fine... A must go when in town.
