Plaisant, bonne sélection mais un peu confiné à certains brasseur, service un peu dépassé par la demande, j’ai eu de bonne frite belge.

Student orientated bar with two rooms on the #55 Blvd Laurier bus route. Good selection of taps with beers from Quebec breweries (although not obviously any from Montreal). The servers proved knowledgeable although it would have been useful to have had a beer menu. Small range of pub food. The fries were excellent and good value.

Bit out of the way for regular tourist (no near subway station). Great tap list , can not comment for bottle selection. Pleasant service , good value.

One of the best in town for beer fan. Awesome selection.Variety in type of beers and brewers is "au rendez-vous". So so pizza but we ain’t there for that ! Service is also so so, depending of who is working I guess. Too Tiny place. Very crowded on week-end evenings. Parking is a problem too. Great terrasse.

Sympathique bar où tout l’accent a été mis sur le service d’excellentes bières en fût. 33 bières offertes, toutes en fût, toutes de vraies bières de micros. Nourriture adaptée au contexte. Service courtois, attentionné. Ambiance très agréable, particulièrement dans la cour arrière. Pintes généralement offertes à 7$.

32 taps. Incredible selection on taps. All local. Big patio on yard. Popular on Wednesday night. Unfortunately no tags on taps.

I was told they are expanding, it is about time. That pub stands out from the crowd of little italy. I remember when it started as a Barberie output. Still it is cozy and intimate. Which makes it interesting but also when you want a place you can’t since it is too small. The beer selection is way too big, it makes you think and think over about what to take, and it happened two or three times I had not a fresh beer, part that they often have some wicked stuff from Charlevoix which makes me love them alot

Intéressant, mais trop serré comme endroit. Leur trop grande sélection fait en sorte qu’on s’y perd un peu lorsqu’on vient finalement nous servir, et, souvent, ils n’effacent pas du tableau les bières qui ne sont plus disponible. Le jeudi soir c’est un peu bruyant, belle ambiance néanmoins, j’aime bien le décor. Je devrait y donner une autre chance, parce que c’est assez loin de chez moi quand même.

Stopped in on a Friday night, a bit crowded but we still managed to find a pair of seats all the way at the end of the bar. Having only been there once I can’t really comment on what the service is regularly like, but I was certainly thrown a bit when after ordering a first round (a well priced sampler of 6 beers for $13) I offered the bartender my card, and asked him to keep the tab open. He responded that he’d have to run it in 25 minutes because he was leaving. I have had the bartender coming in next ask if I wanted to close out and reopen so the previous bartender could get tipped, but never had someone tell me they’d be leaving so I could only have a tab for a small time. Poor form. Rest of the servers there seemed quite quick and friendly though. Only had beer here and as their small behind the bar kitchen seemed slammed I was ok with that. Looked like typical bar fare, nachos, small pizzas, cheese plates. Found it odd that there was just one type of cheese that was put on both the nachos and the pizzas. Beer menu was great, even if not all of the beers on it were amazing. Just really nice to see a place with such an emphasis on local beers, as the night I was there I think all 31 on tap (there was an open tap) were brewed in Quebec. Certainly worth a stop, and I have a feeling I may stop in again next time I’m up since I know I’ll be able to find a healthy amount of local stuff.
