Hidden Gem. Shawn, the owner, has been transforming this bar into the best valued craft beer destination west of Pittsburgh. There are 3 parts to this place. 1. The bar 2. The Dining Area (can access through the bar or its own separate outside entrance). 3. The 6 Pack Shop (access through the outside dining area entrance). The beer on draft rotates often so I keep track via their twitter feed or online. The place mat serves as their bottle beer menu, it’s updated seasonally so there is transition as the beers come and go but the coolers are always stocked. I tend to ’get nose-y’ when deciding and choose from the cooler and not the menu. (See Brickskeller notes). Always good craft to be found and the price’s are typically golden on their selections. Tack on craft beer Thursdays...let’s just say I’ve taken pictures of my receipts for the tweeps to see how crazy low some of the prices are! I’m a day drinker and Patrick’s has their regulars and their busier times. Make sure to get the dinner specials and Fresh Fish Friday’s, the chef has been concocting some delish meals and even cooking with the drafts. Service is spotty and staff craft beer knowledge is left wanting but Shawn seems to be there all the time and can right any wrong or lead me in the right direction with my craft selection. It’s my neighborhood craft beer destination because of it’s value, fresh ’rotated properly’ craft selections, and relaxed atmosphere.

I stopped in here after golf twice this past summer, and just as LinusStick and cheapdark said "they are out of many beers when you ask". They do have a decent selection of micros and average import list. However, they don’t give any discount when you want to buy a 6 or 12 pack on micros. So, what’s the point? Most bars offer some discount when buying 6 and 12 packs…especially on micros. The food is average, nothing unique, serving mostly Irish dishes (one of my favs), but again, average. Not a bad place at all, the a/c is usually not cool enough. I was sweating while eating. If I’m around that area I would stop again, but I wouldn’t drive 15 minutes out of my way to get there. There is plenty of parking in front of the building.

OK, I’ve been to this place more than a few times on my Harley before it was listed on this site. Its a decent bar and I used to go there because they had good stouts on tap for a decent price. Other than that, this is just another beer bar wanting to get in on the action of the micro brew fad. As Linus says, nice bottle list but they are out of many when you ask. Crowded at times.

I’ve lived 15 minutes from this place and never knew it was there. Nice small bar with a big pool room in the back. Seating is very limited if you want to eat. Food is on the lower end for bar food. Atmosphere is very friendly. Seems everyone in there knows everyone (including the employees) so you can tell they have a loyal customer base. The beer list LOOKS good, but as I was ordering beer I kept being told they don’t have it (even though it’s on the bottle list). They said the bottles are constantly rotating and are not always available. Service was average. Had to flag down the waiter any time I needed anything. Wouldn’t go back, but would definitely recommend to someone else.
