| planbee (35), North Carolina | | February 6, 2012 The people here are nice and knowledgeable. They know where every bottle in the shop is as well. The selection is huge, and they seem pretty busy but it seems that they have some items that hang around a bit longer. They still had Wreck the Halls on Super Bowl weekend, and a couple other things that I was surprised to see sitting around. It’s a lot of stuff. There’s a section of 12 packs and cases, cold stuff, aisles of six packs, two walls of singles and big bottles, and numerous islands and aisle displays, and its worth walking around the whole store. A strong Belgian and import section. They had some decent markdowns on certain things too. Lots of people drinking from the taps and browsing on a Sunday afternoon when I was there. | | beerme31 (14), Apex, North Carolina | | December 2, 2011 This would be my second local choice to buy beer. Great selection of beer and wine but the organization of it all needs improvement. Of course they just opened so we’ll see how it goes. The service was great however in helping me find everything. They have a tasting room you and friends can use for free. Also at least 6 taps you drink right there. They might do free samples but you have to pay for a pint of course. They also do tasting events I’m told. | | OldGrowth (132), North Carolina | | November 13, 2011 new building, right at intersection of Davis Drive and Morrisville parkway. Store is the middle of the mall. As you walk in you see the single beer wall, two sections, one with american crafts, the other with imports. Only odd thing for me is they have it seperated by, as I was told by staff, from lighter to darker, left to right, cheaper to expensive, bottom to top. the middle is taken up by the wine, then the opposite side has shelves with six packs and the cooler section. They certainly have just about anything that’s regularly distributed. prices seem in line with others, but I’m bad on keeping track of that info. Great for now, I’m wondering if they can move the neccessary product to keep things fresh. Only time will tell. they also have a 10 taphandle bar in the back, not sure how it works, I think you can buy glasses, but I haven’t asked yet |
