Visited June 9, 2013.
This Bevmo is not entirely visible from the street as they have a smaller sign than most other stores. Inside the place is large an d there is a lot of stuff in there, though most of it is wine and liquor. This is the first Bevmo that Iíve been to that has a cart for new arrivals (at least that I can remember). I thought that was neat but there wasnít a lot on there that I was excited about. The place was fairly empty at 11am on a Sunday. There was a group of college kids (presumably) looking for some fancy beer to take to a party. Service was friendly and actually available. Not a bad place but one of the weaker selections for a Bevmo.

Nothing wrong with your local BevMo! for a good selection of not-too-hard to find beers. I went to the Mountain View location based on a tip that fewer Ratebeerians shop there and thus the harder to find beers might be more available. Didnít work out as I still could not find either Ruination 10th or Port Older Viscosity. In general I prefer the Sunnyvale location for selection, but at least in Mountain View they use the Rate beer shelf tags on occasion!

Hey guy, if you donít know what BevMo is all about, you need to get with it. This is a BevMo. It is what it is. You canít find Russian River here (I donít think Vinnie likes their storage policies much), but you can find a lot of good stuff. Lots of Belgian, German, English, and other international beers. Lots of American craft brews, local and otherwise. Bear Republic, New Belgium, Dogfish Head, Blue Frog (gag me), Alaskan, Allagash, etc. Nothing too rare, but overall pretty solid selection.
Ambiance is very warehouse-like. Thatís what it is. Donít complain. Prices are typically reasonable.
For the die-hard skunk odor fan, BevMo has everything you could ever dream of. They put a whole huge shelf of beer directly facing a huge floor-to-ceiling window that gets intense afternoon sunlight every day. Yes, there are some green bottles on this shelf, but with that amount of sunlight pouring in, bottle color doesnít even matter. If the Beatles were to walk into this store, theyíd be singing, "Here comes the skunk, doo doo doo doo, here comes the skunk, doo doo doo doo, itís all right..." Note the "doo doos" in there. Thatís what your beer will likely smell and taste like if you buy it off this shelf.

Stopped at this Bevmo when I was nearby. It is better than the one in Redwood City, and it had a few beers that I had never seen before. A solid selection, but not anything real outstanding. Also, all the Bevmos in this area donít even carry Russian River... so odd.

pretty standard BevMo in the South Bay. Lots of Stone and occasionally youíll find something new. But mostly the selection never changes and they can be a bit overpriced. I agree with the other reviewer that they should definitely have Russian River, Alesmith, etc. They recently started carrying a limited selection of Dogfish Head and very limited selection of Avery. Definitely should break up sixpacks, at least some.

Certainly nothing to complain about, a pretty standard bevmo with the usual selection. A lot of good solid standard stuff, maybe something unusual here and there, but no Cantillon, St. Bernardus, Alesmith, etc. Nothing to get all excited about, but still ...every time I go to a bevmo I walk out with something worth drinking...

A nice selection of west coast brews not available on te east coast, but where are the Alesmiths and Hair of the Dogs? Staff was hepfull and somewhat knowledgable, but for a distributor of this size breaking up a 12 oz. six pack shouldnít be a problem. Definitely worth a stop by but the selection could have been a bit better.

All Bevmos are not created equally. Of the 4 or 5 Iíve been to, this one is clearly the best. More single bottles, more variety more quality and quantity. If thereís a better beer store on the West Bay, I havenít seen it.
