Just been here (04 June 2013) first time in ages and horrified to see none of their beers, just Hofbrau (Munich) Hell, Erdinger Hefeweiss and Konign Pils! Hope it’s just a temporary glitch and that the brewery has not closed! As a result I have marked it lower than I would have for selection and overall.

Great idea and quite decent brew. Fresh and quite fairly price beer at the airport. Nice place to spend time before or between flights.

A brewpub in an airport, a genius idea of a tourist trap!
The night we went was quite busy, which meant we had to wait to be seated, but wasn’t long. There was a blues/reggae band on later on in the evening.
The service was a little aloof, and at times seemed rude!
The beers were good, but nothing outstanding, drinks wise, the hop liqueur is well worth the trip, and a great way to finish the meal. The food was of reasonably good quality, we did have a side salad that was made with old leaves that was disappointing. Both food and drinks were a little pricy, but what should you expect from from such a place.

45 minutes by train from Munchen center (Isentor station), great connection every 20 minutes or even less goes a new train. Nice and well organised place, quite full of people around 8:30 a.m. Very efficient waiter that alone made tables, served food and usually even taped beer...let say that his job could work 6 French waiters and this one would still be faster. More than reasonable prices, very good food. We took breakfast, one menu (eggs, bacon, cherry tomatoes bread, butter and tea) and white sausage served with mustard and pretzl, plus three beers...and all of that for less than 18€. Unfortunately no seasonal beer at the time. Highly recommendable place even if you’re not travelling by plane.

An oasis inside the Munich airport, complete with it’s own Biergarten. A great place to start or finish any beercation. They offer their own beers and a selection of seasonals.

Popped by here on many a beercation to Deutschland, most recently on 14/07/12.
Inside it looks like a typical start up brewery with wooden tables, pannelled walls and coppers on display. Outside is a large beer garden and the two combined take up a pretty big space.
Beers are from the on site brewery and comprise 2 regulars and a seasonal, the Lichtes Weisse on my most recent visit - ’Airnten’.
Not eaten here, bar a pretzel, but the food looks decent enough.
Service can be a little slow as the place can get busy. Like a lot of German beer venues it’s geared up for eating more so than ’just’ drinking so the servers don’t tend to cater for a group of 8 trying to tick off 3 beers in 40 minutes!!! Double up your orders and ask for the bill well in advance if you’re on a tight schedule! Overall a great bar for a European airport with solid but unspectacular beers, but the price is the cheapest you will find in Munchen and unbelievable for a large airport at around E2.40 a half litre!!! How anyone can rate this for value at less than 9/10 I’m not sure - please let me know which other airports where you can find half decent beer at these prices !!!???

Only in Bavaria will you find not just a brewery in the airport, but an entire biergarten! This welcoming place straddles the open plaza between the airport and train station in Munich. You can relax and enjoy a beer in the open air or inside while waiting to catch your plane or train. The brews we had were solid and tasty, especially the unfiltered pils. Didn’t have time to try the food. Just over 6 euros for three beers, so full marks for value.

I thing they made the best possible out of a brewpub on an Airport. There is always just a selection of 3 beers because the brewery is pretty small. The food is pretty good and the is also something for a small pocket. Also you can see that this is a tourists, but for an local I like going there. Overall it’s nice going over there but just once in a while.

A surprisingly nice place at the airport. The prices are well below the standard prices in Munich. I did taste only the Krampus, which was refreshingly fresh. As with most German brewpubs, the place was neat and clean.

Interesting concept, to put a brewpub in an airport. Nice biergarten, but I was surrounded by smokers, with no non-smoking area in sight. Because the garten is covered and surrounded by the terminal buildings, the smoke just hovers, and you just have to suck it up.
I sat next to a student from the local brewing school, and tried unsuccessfully to talk him out of following the reinheitsgebot. Oh well. I tasted 3 well-made but boring German beer styles (you already know which). But I was surprised that a dunkelweizen counted as their "seasonal" beer. Oh well, more disappointments.
