| TheJester (33), Peterborough, Ontario | | October 11, 2010 Clean, friendly, not too knowledgeable. Best selection in the area, but that’s not saying much. Prices seem competitive. Nice mix of domestic and foreign. Closed on Sundays. | | VTHopHead (57), Barre, Vermont | | June 9, 2010 One of the few places in the Myrtle Beach area with a decent selection of craft beer... not large by comparison, but enough to make the trip worthwhile if you are tired of looking at piles of AB-InBev products in the other stores. Your typical crowded beer store. Property includes a Green’s liquor store (separate entrance). We were a bit disappointed that there were very few local/regional offerings in their selection. Nobody at the store was knowledgeable about the beer selection and could not tell me why no locals. I thought the prices were pretty high compared to what we found in other local stores carrying craft beer. | | petey (14), Fayetteville, North Carolina | | January 1, 2010 Has a good selection of beer. | vanwilder (7), Myrtle Beach, South Carolina does not count - explanation | | March 13, 2009 [ Updated March 27, 2009 ] meh, overall not too bad... decent selection, prices a little high to comparable stores, but selections makes up for it i guess... | | mwelsh13 (23), Maryland | | January 18, 2009 As far as available beers, they did much better than anyone else in Myrtle. What a beer graveyard. Selection was good for the area. Found some Founders, Terrapin and Harpoon I was unable to get back in MD. Two price scales: Cash or Non-Cash. Cash prices were not even that big of a deal. But, I was not picky for what I had to work with. | StoutSeeker (1), Sparta, New Jersey does not count - explanation | | July 15, 2008 Selection has apparently improved since the last rating. I found many hard to find beers here, some of which I drank on our hotel patio, others which I brought home since I can’t find them within an hour of my home. Selection included Orval, St Bernardus, Westmalle Dubbel, Rochefort 6,8,& 10, Ommegang Abbey Ale, several Rogues, Great Divides and lots of micros. It took a while to browse through everything. Prices seemed a little high, but I did enjoy a couple large Lion Stouts for 2.95 each. | | LinusStick (43), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | | May 7, 2007 Blah...they weren’t kidding when they said Myrtle Beach was a beer graveyard. This was the only store that I found that had more than the usual BCM swill. Had some German and Oriental(?) imports mostly but here’s the giveaway..I asked an employee if they had any Belgian beers he said "Belgian?"..I said yes. He looked on the shelves for a minute and said "Do you know who makes it?" He thought it was a brand. Nuff said | | kujo9 (32), North Ridgeville, Ohio | | March 22, 2007 Unfortunately, this is about as good as the selection of beer gets in Myrtle Beach! Some local stuff available, but most if it is macro import stuff. Other nationally distributed micros as well, but hey, in MB, you take what you can get. | | beerlord (11), tonawanda, New York | | February 28, 2007 When you walk into a store and you ask what kind of beer they have tne the reply is "We have both types, bud and bud light" you know your i beer hell, this place stands out when trying to find a real beer and not commericial swill, not a great selection but definatly worth visiting. They carry some of the locals too. | | jb (21), Rochester, New York | | February 25, 2007 Not a huge selection, but they had some local beers, and classic American, English and German selections. |
